In October, teams comprised of professional and amateur drivers compete for the fastest times around the world famous track at VIR – all to support teen mental health. We are grateful to Virginia International Raceway (VIR) and the vision/dedication of Sandy Wiggins for affording a unique and amazing opportunity to raise funds to help Cameron’s dream true, a world without stigma and a focus on help for those who suffer just like her.
The VIR Kart Track is a state-of-the-art 5/8 mile, 24-foot-wide paved circuit. The karts run ungoverned Honda GX 270cc motors capable of speeds in excess of 50 mph, the fastest speeds you’ll find for go-karts anywhere.
This Pro Am Karting event benefits CKG Foundation and features professional drivers like Patrick Long – one of 18 Porsche factory racing drivers, and the only American to hold that distinction.
The CKG Foundation is a mainstream organization positively impacting the teen mental health crisis across the US and beyond. Headquartered in Virginia, CKG Foundation offers, online mental wellness health education.
